Paul Owhadi
CHAIRMAN & CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Paul Owhadi has spent his entire career in the field of municipal administration and private real estate development and investment. His extensive experience in both disciplines has culminated many successful real estate development projects in California and other states.
Paul Owhadi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Wilmington University in Delaware and a Graduate degree in Public Administration, Urban and Regional Studies from Ball State University in Indiana.
In 1975, Mr. Owhadi was appointed to the position of City Manager in York Town, Indiana. At that time, he was the youngest City Manager in the state. His tenure includes serving as City Manager and Chief Executive Officer of several other cities throughout the country.
In July 1983, Mr. Owhadi was appointed President and Principal Shareholder of Tri-Coastal Development Corporation (TCD), a subsidiary of two major Southern California development companies (SLP and PAE Corporations). While continuing as President of TCD Corporation, Mr. Owhadi was appointed Senior Vice President of Real Estate Development in charge of the national division of the Sheldon L. Pollack Corporation. Under Mr. Owhadi’s direction, TCD Corporation successfully completed a series of major residential, commercial, and industrial projects. TCD Corporation also provided consulting services to municipalities and redevelopment agencies in California.
After his departure from the TCD and the SLP Corporations, he founded Sierra Pacific Development, Inc. in October 1990. Sierra Pacific Development, Inc. is a diversified development and construction company specializing in residential, commercial, and industrial development.
Mr. Owhadi also is currently the Key Principal/Chairman of the Board and/or the Managing General Partner of over thirty active companies specializing in the following areas:
- Single and multi-family residential development including subdivisions.
- Construction of residential, commercial and industrial projects.
- Investment in commercial, residential, and industrial real estate properties.
- Real estate development/joint ventures with various institutional organizations.
- Medical/psychological services through California Psychological Institute and Gateway, LLC.
In addition to his business activities, Mr. Owhadi holds a Lifetime Teaching Credential in California and has lectured at several colleges and universities. He is the recipient of numerous awards, citations, and recognitions including California Businessman of the Year in 2005; the Governor’s Award from the Governor of Kentucky for his accomplishments as City Manager of Ludlow, Kentucky; service awards from the Fresno County Economic Opportunity Commission; and awards of excellence from several U.S. cities for his work performance and accomplishments.
In 2005, Mr. Owhadi was selected by the National Republican Congressional Committee as Businessman of the Year representing the state of California.
Jennifer Owhadi
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Jennifer Owhadi serves as Chief Financial Officer for Pacific Rim Companies, where she provides strategic financial leadership and oversees corporate operations across the firm’s development, investment, and property management platforms. She has been involved with the Pacific Rim organization since 2004, following her graduation from the University of Colorado at Boulder, where she earned Bachelor’s degrees in both Business and Psychology.
Jennifer brings more than two decades of experience in financial management, corporate governance, and real estate operations. She is responsible for directing the financial strategy and day-to-day affairs of Pacific Rim Companies and its subsidiaries, including oversight of accounting, capital planning, risk management, and regulatory compliance. In addition, she plays a key role in supervising the asset management of the company’s nationwide multifamily portfolio, ensuring financial performance aligns with long-term investment objectives.
A licensed California Real Estate Broker since 2006, Jennifer combines deep industry knowledge with strong analytical and leadership capabilities. Her ability to structure and manage complex financial operations has been instrumental in supporting the company’s growth, maintaining strong lender and investor relationships, and optimizing capital structure across a diverse portfolio of real estate assets.
Jamie Egan
CONTROLLER / CPA
Jamie Egan has served as Controller at Pacific Rim Companies since April 2019, where she oversees the company’s financial operations and ensures compliance with all applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business from the University of California in 1989 and obtained her Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in 1992.
With more than 30 years of experience in accounting and financial management, Jamie provides leadership across budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and internal controls. Her depth of experience and analytical expertise have been instrumental in strengthening financial oversight, supporting strategic decision-making, and enhancing the company’s overall financial performance.
Meagan Kuehnel
VICE PRESIDENT of ASSET MANAGEMENT
Meagan Kuehnel serves as Vice President of Asset Management for Pacific Rim Companies, where she is responsible for overseeing the performance, strategy, and long-term value of the firm’s real estate portfolio. Since joining the company in 2018, she has played a key role in strengthening operational processes, optimizing asset performance, and supporting the company’s development and investment efforts..
Meagan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business from San Diego State University and is a licensed California Real Estate Salesperson. Over the course of her career, she has been involved in more than $2 billion in residential real estate transactions. She is known for her ability to streamline workflows, enhance organizational efficiency, and foster strong cross-functional collaboration to drive portfolio-wide results.
